By this weekend, I'll be moving out and heading to Longview, WA for a few months.
Don't worry, I'll take my art shananagins with me.
But I wanted to make a quick check list to get done this week before leaving:
O_Present for Paula (will have to mail)
X_Paint Mural
O_Window Painting (acheived with mural)
O_Street Mini's (will continue in Longview)
X_Window Installation
X_Yarn
Now, depending which I finish this week, I'll post pics.

Embrace the Day
...and 3 days later, they tried to chip it all off.
If I gave my pieces awards, this one's would be "Would-be saddest thing to happen to a work"
But I let it roll off. I enjoyed doing it. I enjoy the memory of it.
I think someday, I'll go back and try something else. I'm thinking of slyly using it in a proposal. The board would be like "Hey... wait... didn't someone already do this?" It'd be even more ironic/funny if they approved it.
Either way, this spot really needs to be filled.

^ Here is the article the WSU Today posted. It was about a year ago to date.
Two things: 1- This was pretty much the first ever "protest" of any kind I'd done. And it made the paper. I had a heart attack. Plus, I mean, that was the first. So, everything since has been kind of a let done, no? (: And it was just a spur-of-the-moment, spray paint and paper.
2- The 33rd heart isn't missing. If you look had above the red sign, you can see a black and red heart wedged in. It stayed there for months. Which makes me want to add random things to the heart, and no one would ever notice.

Red Ribbon

I love Red Ribbon. Why? Because it's red, the best looking color. That's why your blood is red. And ribbon? Because, it.. just goes. It's like a line, just flowing, connecting.
I was driving out to my fort a few weeks ago, when I found this. Someone had lined their whole fence with red ribbon. It was beautiful, encouraging, inspiring.

Just another day for me
Just going out, doing stuff, having conversations, having dinner with pals, swinging.
I even captured my neighbor and his wife giving me a new idea (...we'll see...)
And a chalk mural I had to hose off earlier this winter. brrr.
PS: tell mom, yes, I know I need a hair cut. (:
(protip: one of the effects doesn't work, so it scrolls in white for a bit, but just keep watchin')

My new fort
Behold! My new fort. It needs some work done. It's a half house. Just standing out in the middle of nowhere.
This is my new kitchen. Notice the wooden spoon and fork adorning the wall -- the perfect house warming gift, imho.

Murals for Kalama
Uncanny look alike
There we go
It was about 1am when the custodians left and locked up. I came out of hiding, with my stencils, cans, and house paint. I found an old sponge for the stars. (Sponge paintings reminds me of my old pastor's wife, she taught me the finer details of just going to town with them)
It was about 5am when I wrapped up and cleaned up. The staff was starting to show up. I think someone saw me, but I was gone before they were back.

Savin' some space
Look, as a graf-artist, I don't mind tagging. I appriciate a good black line scribble, if it's tastefully mastered. But... really now? What is this shit?
This area is a little hole in the wall of a building. An ugly building with ugly cement walls. The owners have handle the rest of the spaces and hallways fairly well, in my opinion. They painted them, covered them. But this space needs lovin.
